Luz

A central feature of Villa Luz is the sheltered inner courtyard, which, together with permeability of the living spaces, gives the house a tremendous feeling of space and light. Arches lead from the hallway to the large eat-in kitchen. There is open access from the kitchen to the formal dining area, with arches also leading from the hallway and dining area to the spacious main living area. Over this area, accessed by a concealed stairway, is a gallery with access to two roof terraces, oriented to enjoy the sun at different times of day. Villa Luz has three bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and patio doors to the garden, and a room off the main living area that can be used as a study, family room or fourth bedroom. A wide set of patio doors leads out onto a sheltered, covered south-facing terrace, ideal for al fresco dining, and the pool area.
