At AlmaVerde Village & Spa, the Elixir Group is creating a new
village and range of amenities that will serve both as a residential
community and as a vacation destination. The village comprises plots
for one hundred and thirty individual villas, twenty eight townhouses
and thirty apartments. The Spa Resort comprises a new purpose-built
destination spa and wellness centre, as well as a racquets centre
and seventy additional apartments dedicated to spa-goers.
The site enjoys an elevated position with sweeping views over the
surrounding countryside, with only a maximum of 10% of the total
area of the site designated for building. The remainder will be streets
and paths, gardens, sports and recreational areas, and parkland.
AlmaVerde Village & Spa is located 10 km West of Lagos on the
EN125, and, with the opening of the new motorway extension to the
western Algarve, the journey time from Faro International Airport
to AlmaVerde is now under 60 minutes.
The beach at the picturesque fishing village of Burgau is just three
minutes by car, while the historic port of Lagos, with its colourful
markets, attractive marina and vibrant nightlife, is only ten minutes
away.
Our team has taken a fresh approach to design, drawing from local
traditions, and adding modern flair and attention to detail. Villas
feature dramatic double-height interior spaces, galleries and roof
terraces.
Most buildings are single storey with the occasional two storey building
adding variety and interest. Villa plots range in size from five
hundred to over seven thousand square metres. Due to their elevated
position, many of the plots have panoramic views of the surrounding
